I left Bowie, MD in June 2004 to move to Grand Junction, Colorado. I am now the Controller of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado. I have three kids Savannah, Joshua, and Elijah. Also, I manage a website for Bowie High School’s wrestling program. That is probably the one thing I miss about Maryland.

Still a Maryland resident, I now work for Lockheed Martin Information Technology, located in Greenbelt, MD. I serve as the secretary for the boosters’ club at my daughters’ school. I also have a son. They both keep me very busy.

I now live in Baltimore (County), Maryland. I started out working as a secretary for several firms before I realized that I was bored and wanted to do something more. I attended Computer Learning Center (long since closed) and started my career in the IT field. I have been working as an IT Support Specialist contractor at the Department of Energy in Washington, DC for several years. My son, James, is now on full tuition scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh. He also graduated from Lackey and seems to be headed toward the computer field, and a beautiful daughter, Carlyn, who is now in high school.

I work at the Naval Research Lab doing IT, and there I met my husband, Mike.
We're both avid skiers and we were married in 1998 in Aspen, Colorado. We live in Mount Vernon, Virginia, and we have a wonderful 3 year old son, Gerrit. I rarely get to see any of my old school friends, so I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

I have been working in Federal Law Enforcement since 1993 and have been working as a Criminal Investigator for the US Marshal’s since 2000. After working five years in Washington D.C., and two in San Diego CA., I have finally transferred to Denver Colorado in early 2007. Denver is where my wife grew up and we are having a home built here that should be completed by September of 2007. It looks like we will be staying here until at least one of our two girls graduates high school which is a very welcome situation for all involved.

Drew Leiendecker

After graduating, I attended James Madison Univeristy where I earned a degree in computer programming. Through ROTC, I entered service in the Army where I (1) never did any more computer programming, (2) gave up a very financially rewarding career programming computers, and (3) decided to make the Army a career. I am now a Major in the Medical Service Corps stationed at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. I have lived all over the country and have traveled to Thailand twice for military exercises. In June of 04, I will move to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas for a year of advanced military schooling and then back to Fort Bragg, NC for another assignment with the 82d Airborne Division.
While at JMU, I met my wife Heather (who luckily for me was a military brat). She and I currently have a beautiful two year old girl named Hannah and are expecting our second (and more than likely last) child in September.

I currently reside in White Plains, MD with my 3 children NeCole, David and Jarred. I work in Reston, VA as a Web Master and Graphic Design Specialist for Science Applications International Corporation. I have an AAS Degree in General Studies, a BA Degree in Graphic Arts and in 2004 I obtained my Web Master Certification (CIW). I am Chief Executive Officer of my company Nejada Designs, LLC (which is the first two letters of my childrens names)...cute huh! I published my first book of poetry in June of 2005 entitled "It's My Time... Black Butterflies" and I am currently working on my second book. In fact the MD Independent did a write up in the August 10, 2005 issue. I have had the fortunate pleasure to work with several of my friends from school thru my business providing screen print & embroidery services. My daughter NeCole just graduated from high school and will be attending Morgan State University in the fall.
I look forward to seeing many of my classmates, especially the ones I have not seen in 20 years!
